My Journey

My dad took me to my first Bikram yoga class when I was 12 years old. He recognized how important movement was for me, especially as a way of coping with and navigating my emotions. After that first class, we began going together regularly as a way of bonding and also giving back to ourselves. Even at a young age, I understood yoga was a limitless journey far beyond just physical exercise—it became a vessel for self-discovery and emotional expression.

Yoga, for me, has been the most consistent practice in my life—it's a profound journey into understanding the body as a vessel, a sacred container for the emotions, energy, and memories that make us who we are. Our bodies hold stories, both heavy and light, and yoga offers a gentle yet powerful way to cleanse, release, and patiently work through them. It teaches us that we are not just passive beings, but active participants in the energy that flows through us and the world.

Each pose, each breath, allows us to reconnect with ourselves in the most intimate way, creating space to release what no longer serves us. Through yoga, we recognize that we are unique, individual vessels, but also part of a larger whole—a vast, interconnected universe. As we purify our vessel, we not only heal and align ourselves, but we also contribute to the collective energy, releasing positivity, peace, and love into the world from the inside out.

It’s a reminder that we don’t need to hold onto everything we carry—yoga teaches us the beauty of letting go, of surrendering to the flow of life, and trusting that we are always supported by the energy that surrounds us.. Through yoga, we find the balance between holding and releasing, creating space for renewal and growth.
